About the role
This role suits individuals who have a few years of experience in supporting Microsoft 365 & Azure and want to start gaining experience in deploying projects. This role is especially suitable for individuals who enjoy having a variety of tasks in their day and working with multiple technologies.
The role will provide mentoring to develop your skills and accelerate your career growth, while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Role and Responsibilities
This is a hybrid support role that will give hands-on experience in project deployment and automation.
The general responsibilities include:
* Providing technical support to end-users via phone & email.
* Investigating and resolving alerts generated by our RMM platform.
* Performing technical change requests to client infrastructure.
* Attending client sites to troubleshoot issues (where it can't be done remotely).
* Assisting with the delivery of infrastructure projects.
* Creating PowerShell scripts (at an intermediate level) to minimise the time taken to perform repetitive tasks.
Experience
* Foundational level of networking (VLAN concepts, tag/untag, subnetting)
* PowerShell (Intermediate)
* Windows Administration - AD, GPO, DHCP/DNS, Hyper-V (Intermediate)
* Windows Desktop Support (Guru)
Qualification
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Minimum of 2 years working in a customer service-focused role in IT Support.
* Tertiary qualification (e.g., Diploma/Bachelor) and/or relevant vendor certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified) (not mandatory, but highly desirable).
* IITL Certification (not mandatory, but highly desirable).
* Valid driver's license & reliable motor vehicle.
* Australian Resident or working visa.
* Experience working within an MSP (not mandatory, but highly desirable)
* Clear National Police Check and Working with Children Check (WWCC)
