About the role
We seek a compassionate and dedicated Aged Care Worker to join our team at Pearl Home Care Gippsland, VIC. As a casual Aged Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly and disabled clients, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, grooming, and meal preparation
* Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
* Documenting client progress and reporting any changes in their condition
* Adhering to all safety and quality standards in the delivery of care
* Collaborating with the care team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients
What we're looking for
* Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in Aged Care or Disability Support
* Experience in a similar aged care or disability support role, preferably in a community-based setting
* Minimum 1-2 years of aged care or disability support experience is required for this position
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing the highest standard of care. Current First Aid certificate and National Police Clearance
* Working with Vulnerable People check is required for this role
* Current Driver's Licence and a fully maintained, registered, and insured vehicle
