About the role
The role involves supporting the workshop team at our Townsville Branch by ensuring prompt service, repair, and maintenance of our equipment.
Responsibilities include scheduled maintenance on a variety of equipment such as earthmoving machinery, EWP's, generators, small petrol/diesel/electric plants, and more. The role also involves on-site breakdown service and being available for on-call duties.
To succeed
We are looking for energetic individuals willing to assist customers and support team members. The following attributes are also important:
* Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills
* Mechanical trade qualification (Cert III or equivalent)
* Positive attitude and proactive approach
* Excellent customer service skills
* Experience with industrial equipment, diesel and petrol engines
* Commitment to safety culture
* Forklift license (advantageous but not mandatory)
* Experience with compaction and earthmoving equipment (desirable)
* Experience with EWP's & forklifts (desirable)
* Well-presented appearance
