Position Overview
Permanent Part‐Time Role (4 days per week). Salary packaging and tax benefits up to $15,900 per year plus $2,650 entertainment allowance. New Enterprise Agreement. Role across two Bolton Clarke Aged Care Homes.
Location
Monday & Tuesday – Terraces, Varsity Lakes. Wednesday & Friday – Sandbrook, Burleigh Waters.
Role
* Put equipment (e.g., mobility aids) and resident shopping into the bus
* Fold and unfold mobility aids
* Stay with residents to allow staff to attend to other needs
* Engage with residents, encouraging and supporting them to participate in out‐of‐home outings
* Aid residents with simple mobilisation, including pushing a resident in a wheelchair (where trained to do so)
* Share, at the end of the shift, a list of residents spoken to and information on topics discussed with the Activities Officer / Lifestyle Coordinator
* Deliver a high level of customer service, including the timely provision of agreed services to residents/clients and internal customers
* Drive in accordance with road and safety requirements, maintaining due care at all times
Qualifications
* LR class licence for driving buses
* Clear driving record
* Previous experience using lifting equipment and assistive devices (desirable)
* Ability to use computer software (Word and Excel)
* NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
* Complete a police check
