Due to continued growth this well established Australian owned exporter is seeking an experienced Export Documentation Officer to join the team. Located in the Northern Suburbs of Sydney within close proximity to train line, and parking options available.
In the role you will accurately prepare and dispatch all export documentation relating to new shipping contracts to suppliers, clients and shipping agents. To be an eligible applicant you must have previous export ocean documentation experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Shipping documents such as letter of instruction/forwarding instructions, permits and certificates
* Ensure documentation is accurate and issued in a timely manner
* Liaise with Suppliers and freight forwarders
* Prepare and dispatch original invoices
* Work as part of the team and assist other teams with all general administration
* Answer incoming calls, opening mail and distributing incoming correspondence.
Skills and Attributes required
* Proficiency in Impex Docs or similar export operating system
* Good knowledge in all aspects of international trading
* Attention to details and accuracy
* Computer literacy in MS Office mainly Outlook/Word/Excel
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
