HSE / WHS Advisor (Engineering & Manufacturing)
Aerospace | UAS | Advanced Manufacturing
This role sits primarily within Health, Safety and Engineering Operations, whilst also supporting quality and compliance activities across a growing aerospace programme.
Working closely with engineers, technicians and leadership teams, you will help establish the practical safety systems, procedures and culture required to support workshop operations, aircraft assembly, testing and manufacturing activities.

* Conduct risk assessments relating to tooling, workshop activities, equipment and manufacturing operations.
* Develop safe work procedures, SWMS and operational guidelines.
* Promote a positive and proactive safety culture across engineering and manufacturing teams.
* Support incident investigations, corrective actions and lessons learned activities.
* Monitor workplace compliance with relevant WHS legislation and company procedures.
* Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks and ongoing safety awareness activities.
* Act as a trusted safety advisor to engineers, technicians and operational teams.
Workshop & Manufacturing Operations
* Support the setup and ongoing operation of workshop and hangar facilities.
* Assist with machinery, tooling and equipment safety reviews.

* Contribute to non-conformance reporting and continuous improvement activities.
* Assist with traceability and process control across engineering and manufacturing activities.
About You
You are a practical HSE professional who enjoys working closely with engineers and technicians in hands-on environments.
You understand that safety should enable engineering teams to deliver rather than create unnecessary barriers.
You are comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve and where solutions often need to be developed from first principles.
You build credibility through collaboration, common sense and a pragmatic approach to risk management.
