Blender/Batcher Full time, hands on position.
Our Townsville based manufacturing and distribution company requires a motivated, entry level blender to learn and assist in the manufacturing of our quality range of industrial & domestic cleaning products. This is a full-time hands on role for a Blender / Batcher based in Townsville North Queensland.
What you will be doing
You will assist in the manufacture, packaging and labelling of our range of detergents, disinfectants, deodorisers, degreasers and powders.
What we're looking for
Ideally, you would have had experience working with raw materials from similar industries; however full training will be provided to the successful applicant.
Experience working with raw materials in chemical manufacturing is preferred for this role.
You'll need to be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kgs of materials.
You'll also need basic maths skills to calculate and mix products correctly.
Competency in percentages and ratios is required to ensure accurate product calculations and mixing.
A basic school level understanding of mathematical percentages and ratios is required for accurate product calculations and mixing.
A current Forklift Drivers Licence is desirable.
Remuneration commensurate with experience.
Only candidates who are already in Australia with a valid work visa with no restrictions will be considered for this role.
Candidates must hold Australian permanent residency to be eligible for this position.
