Your new role
* Develop and maintain detailed shutdown schedules using MS Project or Primavera P6
* Coordinate with maintenance, operations, procurement, and contractors to align scope and timing
* Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials to optimise resource use
* Identify risks, monitor critical path activities, and implement mitigation strategies
* Track progress against baseline schedules and prepare daily/weekly reports
* Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies
* Conduct post-shutdown reviews and implement lessons learnt for future improvements
What you'll need to succeed
* Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance planning or scheduling within mining, oil & gas, or heavy industry
* Proven experience managing major shutdowns or turnarounds
* Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project)
* Strong understanding of maintenance processes and asset management
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
* Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and commitment to safety
