We are seeking an adventurous and driven educator to teach students from R-12, depending on the needs of the site. This is the perfect role for someone who thrives on variety in their days and teaching practice.

This role requires a willingness to develop authentic relationships with students, staff, families and community. It will involve working alongside Anangu Educators to deliver curriculum and high expectations of students. Understanding EALD strategies, trauma practices and collaborative practices are highly desirable. Bring your flexibility, teamwork, resilience and sense of humour to our wonderful school.

In addition to the salary, the following financial incentives apply:
Country Zone Allowance of $10,000 approx per year
Locality Allowance of $10,000 approx per year
Fully Subsidised Accommodation including all utilities (accommodation may be shared)
Payment of Removal and relocation expenses
Travel and accomodation costs for medical and dental treatment
Remission of Higher Education Loan Program Debts
Reduction of Higher Education Loan Program (HELP) debts for teachers in very remote areas
To ensure employer compliance of duty of care responsibilities given the unique environment of the Maralinga Tjarutja Lands, a wellness check will be conducted for any Teacher nominated for this position and prior to any offer of employment. Prior to deployment the employee is expected to undergo department provided 4wd training to ensure safe travel and the ability to drive government cars. Please note that part time and flexible arrangements will be considered.
