About this opportunity
As a Physiotherapist with the WA Country Health Service, you will plan, coordinate, and provide physiotherapy services to a designated caseload of inpatient, outpatient and/or community clients. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and have the opportunity to develop broad clinical and professional skills.
Physiotherapy students in their final semester of study are encouraged to apply.
Recruitment pool
This is an open-ended recruitment pool for permanent or temporary, full‐time or part‐time, fixed‐term or casual appointments. The pool will be monitored and assessed on a regular basis. Interviews may not be conducted as part of the initial process, but applicants may be contacted for additional information. Referees will be contacted as part of the assessment. Successful candidates will be considered for all suitable vacancies across the WACHS regions for the duration of the pool (until 31/07/2026) without the need to re‐apply for each position.
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate and provide physiotherapy services to patients in inpatient, outpatient and community settings. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and apply evidence‐based practice to deliver high‐quality care.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Evidence of an Australian physiotherapy qualification, or eligibility for registration by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia, or evidence of final semester enrolment in a university program.
* A comprehensive CV summarising experience and professional qualifications.
* A statement of 2‐3 pages addressing the essential selection criteria with examples of skills and experience.
* Names and contact details of two (2) recent professional referees (preferably a current supervisor or manager).
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency status for consideration of a permanent position in the WA public sector.
* Completion of a satisfactory Pre‐Employment Health Assessment (PEHA) and Working With Children's Check (WWC).
* Undertake criminal records screening and integrity checks, including references on integrity and ethical behaviour.
