Artisans of Barossa, a well know collective oeno-tourism business in the Barossa Valley, seeks a Chef, ensuring that the standard, quality of the food production and hygiene is always maintained. This role is very much hands-on, requiring attention to detail and a positive work attitude.

Skills and experience:
Demonstrated experience in the following areas is required~
* A desire to utilise local seasonal produce and be part of a kitchen garden culture.
* Assist the Head Chef with food preparation and cooking fresh high-quality meals
* Excellent communication and organization skills
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment
* A strong understanding of good food handling practices and dedication to food quality and control
* Strict adherence to food hygiene regulations
* Demonstrate cooking skill, efficiency and actively participating in service.
Essential qualifications:
* Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
* Food Handling Certificate
* Punctual, organised and trustworthy.
* Professional appearance.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Attention to detail.
* A passion for food and wine.
* Ability to work a flexible roster Wed-Sun daytime shifts. Some event nights may be required.
