Practical Information:
Location: Melbourne, Australia | Reports to: HR Director | Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for Australia | Language Requirements: Fluent English, written and verbal
As our new HR Business Partner, you will be providing support for the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, performance management, development, and well-being. This role involves closely supporting employees in APAC across a range of business functions, including sales, professional services, technical solution consulting, and support functions, while collaborating with the Finance team.
Other responsibilities will include:
* Liaise closely with both the Talent Acquisition Team and business to ensure resourcing meets business requirements and growth
* Ensure excellent new employee experience from issue of employment agreements to preparation and employee set up for on-boarding
* Support best practice on-boarding from new employee induction, documentation, training, and orientation in partnership with business team
* Expert user in Crayon’s HCM Talentsoft, setting up employees, driving probation and performance reviews, talent assessment and headcount reporting
* Trusted advisor and coach to managers on employee relations, performance, targets, and giving feedback
* Assist with Payroll processing in collaboration with our Finance team
* 7 years+ of hands-on and solid experience in the general HR areas of recruitment, human resources management and human resources development in an international technology environment (IT/ Software & Services industry is an advantage)
* Knowledge of legal & regulatory requirements in APAC (especially Australia) is highly regarded
* Formal qualification in HR or a related
* General understanding of payroll from a HR perspective
