The primary responsibility of this role is ensuring our rights in relation to the rail corridor are maintained by actively managing third party requests through collaboration with local government, commercial entities and members of the public.
This involves providing end-to-end management of a variety of agreements from assisting with contract drafting through to execution and ongoing contract management.
Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is also required to find solutions to meet third party requests safely without eroding our rights.
Additionally, proactive management of our contract management systems is necessary to ensure all records are accurate and up to date.
Key Duties:
* Providing end-to-end management of a variety of agreements from assisting with contract drafting through to execution and ongoing contract management
* Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to find solutions to meet third party requests safely without eroding our rights
* Working closely with our safety team and third parties to develop, implement and review safety interface agreements
* Proactively managing our contract management systems, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Experience in contract management and contract drafting desirable but not essential
* Fundamental excel skills required, more advanced excel skills desirable but not essential
* Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
* Strong problem-solving, analytical and decision making skills, with the ability to manage risks and resolve issues effectively
* Ability to work autonomously with excellent time management given high volume of requests and competing priorities
