IT Support Technician (1st Line)We're currently recruiting for an IT Support Technician to join a growing and supportive IT team.
This role is ideal for someone with around two years of hands-on IT support experience who is looking to develop their technical skills in a varied, fast-paced environment.As the first point of contact for the business, you'll provide 1st line support to users, resolving day-to-day technical issues and escalating more complex problems when required.
You'll be involved in a wide range of tasks, from new user setups and laptop configurations to printer installations and occasional off-site firewall installations.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the initial point of contact for IT support queries via phone, email, and in personDiagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issuesProvide remote support to users across multiple locationsInstall, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and operating systemsLog support requests and resolutionsMaintain accurate records of hardwareAssist with routine hardware maintenance and software updatesProvide guidance and training to users on company systems.Skills & Experience RequiredExperience in an IT support or service desk roleExperience with Active DirectoryMicrosoft 365, SharePoint Online and Power AutomateExperience managing Sophos Central and antivirus policiesMicrosoft Office applicationsFull UK driving licence (essential)What's on OfferFull-time, permanent positionSalary between £23,000 – £26,000 per annumOn-site role offering hands-on experience and exposure to a broad IT environmentThis is a great opportunity for a proactive IT support professional looking to grow their career within a well-established organisation.
