Job Title: Head of Department
About the Role:
The Head of Department is responsible for leading teams in student services, overseeing attendance, behaviour, uniform and attainment of students. They will work with teams to promote a sense of belonging and wellbeing for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee, track and monitor the attendance, behaviour, uniform and attainment of students in year 7 and 8.
* Provide programs of intervention when required.
* Work with teams to promote a sense of belonging and wellbeing for all students.
* Monitor individual student performance and implement intervention strategies where necessary.
* Develop and implement community engagement strategies and programs with other organisations, local businesses and not for profit organisations.
* Supervise and support the performance plans of teachers as required.
