Occupational Therapist - Senior Inpatient Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient team. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to our patients, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our dynamic team. The successful applicant will have experience working in the inpatient setting, with a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices.
You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to support patient recovery and independence. Your expertise will also be utilized to provide clinical supervision and mentoring to junior staff members.
Requirements
* A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and experience in the provision of occupational therapy services within adult inpatient settings, including aged care, neurology, and orthopaedics
* Demonstrated experience in the identification of evidence-based practice and/or development of treatment protocols
* Demonstrated high-level organisational and time management skills
* Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision, mentoring of staff, and/or students
