The Role
As an Asset Manager, you'll play a key role in optimizing the performance, revenue, and value of our renewable assets throughout their lifecycle. You'll ensure compliance with contracts, maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and provide strategic direction for asset management at Gentari.
What You'll Be Doing
* Monitor financial and technical asset performance and address deviations from OKRs.
* Operate assets in line with trading strategies and maintain reporting calendars
* Prepare annual operating plans and regulatory reports (NGER, CIRMP, Electricity Generation Return).
* Oversee O&M contractor compliance and manage PPAs, NSP agreements, and insurance requirements.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders including NSP, AEMO, lenders, and corporate teams.
* Prepare budgets and forecasts, ensuring costs remain within budget
* Maintain compliance with legislation, environmental approvals, and SOCI Act requirements.
* Provide feedback and guidance to development and engineering teams on new projects and AEMO-related activities.
About You
* Strong knowledge of technical and commercial aspects of asset management.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in renewable energy as an Asset Manager (ideally gained in Solar and BESS)
* Engineering qualifications or relevant experience
* Experience in operational budgets and forecasting.
* Skilled in contract and stakeholder management.
* Understanding of renewable energy legislation and regulatory compliance.
* Full working rights in Australia and a valid Australian driver's licence.
