About the role
As a Biomedical Engineering Technical Officer with SA Dental you will play a valued part in keeping vital biomedical technology safe, reliable and ready for use across SA Dental clinics. Your work directly supports patient diagnosis, treatment and monitoring, helping clinicians deliver the best possible care every day.
Working alongside experienced professionals, you will carry out preventative and remedial maintenance on a wide range of biomedical devices and systems. You will build your technical capability while applying sound judgement, following established standards and supporting the smooth day to day operation of SA Dental as new and emerging technologies come online.
About You
You are a technically capable professional who enjoys problem solving, works well with others and takes pride in supporting safe, reliable medical technology.
• Hold a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant technical discipline
• Communicate clearly and confidently with clinical, technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Deliver preventative and remedial maintenance while meeting deadlines and safety expectations
• Apply strong knowledge of biomedical devices, clinical use and regulatory requirements
