**About the Role:**
We are seeking an experienced Systems Electrician and Cable Jointer to join our team in the construction and maintenance of our electrical network.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with electricity networks and has a strong background in systems electrician work and cable jointing.
The successful candidate will have a Certificate III Systems Electrician and Certificate III ESI – Distribution Cable Jointing, and hold an unrestricted ACT Electrical License or be able to obtain one.
We're looking for someone who has previous experience in field work on construction and/or maintenance of network infrastructure, and is committed to ensuring the safety of their colleagues and the community.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* The installation of services from our distribution network to customers' premises, ensuring efficient delivery of electricity
* Timely completion of all record-keeping documentation, including work order and task completion, vehicle log sheets, timesheets etc, maintaining accurate records
* Be willing to complete the relevant training and authorisation for HV and LV field switching and apply these skills as part of the core role, enhancing technical expertise
* Zone and distribution substation construction and maintenance, ensuring reliable infrastructure
* Participate in on-call & shift-work rosters as necessary based on policy, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
* Other duties within the employee's skill, competence, and training, providing opportunities for growth and development

**Ideal Candidate:**
* Minimum Certificate III Systems Electrician and Certificate III ESI – Distribution Cable Jointing, meeting technical requirements
* An unrestricted ACT Electrical License or the ability to obtain one, ensuring regulatory compliance
* Previous successful work in field on construction and/or maintenance of network infrastructure, demonstrating relevant experience
