Career Opportunities: Senior Manager - Investments
This role is responsible for driving future growth and diversification by identifying, evaluating, and executing business acquisitions and divestments, new ventures, investments, and other related strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or corporate advisory roles, with experience in managing corporate development activity from idea generation to deal closing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage corporate development activity from idea generation through valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and closing activities where appropriate.
* Develop and maintain an active opportunity pipeline (acquisitions/divestments, new ventures, investments, partnerships/alliances, and joint ventures).
* Evaluate relevant markets and companies for initiatives that support the company strategy.
* Drive the development of valuations, financial analyses, proposals, and presentations for strategic and corporate development initiatives for executive and commission meetings.
* Partner with finance, strategy, and legal teams to create deliverables for investment committee and commission meetings.
* Manage and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally.
Requirements
* 8-10 years' experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, and/or corporate advisory roles.
* Exceptional relationship and communication skills and ability to influence senior executives.
* End-to-end transaction management and financial modeling experience.
* No sports experience necessary, but takes a strong interest in learning the sports industry.
* Experience in property development, consumer, and technology or proven to be able to work across a wide range of sectors.
* Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
