The Opportunity
Be part of something that matters. As Project Support Officer— Illuminate Program, you'll join a core team delivering an important initiative to help the organisation broaden access to education. This role is hands-on and varied.
You'll help keep projects moving by coordinating tasks, preparing reports, supporting governance, and ensuring things run smoothly from planning through to delivery. If you enjoy bringing structure to complex work and collaborating with a range of stakeholder groups to achieve meaningful outcomes, this is a great opportunity to make a difference.
What you'll do:
* Provide project and operational support, including monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones and deliverables, to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are in line with approved project plans
* Update and collate documentation and records regarding relevant issues, risks and practices to ensure the delivery of projects complies with endorsed project management framework
* Assist the project team to complete and follow-up tasks and implement project plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved
* Communicate with relevant stakeholders to provide updates regarding project status and implementation issues
* Provide a range of secretariat and administrative services, including coordinating meetings and preparing minutes, papers, reports & presentations, to support project management delivery
What you'll bring:
* Qualification in the relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant experience in administration and/or project management
* Demonstrated experience in a project support focused role
* Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to independently assess and prioritise tasks and issues
* Excellent collaboration and stakeholder relationship management skills
* Experience providing a range of secretariat and administrative services
* Project Management certification is highly desirable
