Project Overview: Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia, operated by Woodside Energy. This project will process Scarborough gas, achieving an LNG capacity of approximately 5 million tonnes per annum. Additional domestic gas infrastructure will also be installed, increasing capacity to around 225 Terajoules per day. Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to manage the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning scope for Pluto Train 2. RDO is accrued - choose to have it paid during RNR or at the end of your contract. Full time, permanent employment (4 weeks of annual leave, 10 days of personal leave). $5.40 per hour site allowance. $1.93 per hour trade allowance. $175 per week project incentive payment (PIP). Qualifications and Skills: Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in a similar position within the construction industry. Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication / Welding). White Card. Gas Test Atmospheres. Experienced in utilising GTAW welding process. Experienced in utilising STT welding process - advantage. Previous Bechtel experience is desirable. Understanding of safe on-site work practices. Excellent communication skills to talk with other team members. Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol screening. Additional Information This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.). The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products – i.e. cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site. Mobile phones and other personal electronic devices – i.e. wireless headphones, iPads, smart watches - are also not permitted on site.
