Global collaboration opportunitiesTo work on industry-shaping projectsFlexible career developmentOpportunity to work on diverse globally offshore projects.A strong company culture.This full-time permanent position is based in our new Perth headquarters overlooking the beautiful Elizabeth Quay, with 120 to 150 days per year offshore.The OpportunityReporting to the Survey and Inspection Operations Manager – Australia, you will be accountable for the preparation, calibrations, offshore execution, data processing, data management and reporting of offshore and onshore survey projects.Some of your responsibilities will be:Assist the Party Chief, Surveyor or Survey Engineer with calibrating sensors as requiredMaintain, set-up, test, and maintain equipment in preparation for use on offshore projectsFault-find, service, and repair damaged or non-operation subsea equipment returned to the workshopInstallation, configuration of hydrographic and marine geophysics survey equipment and softwareOperation in the field of survey equipment and software to acquire data, in accordance with industry standards, MMA Offshore work instructions and project specific proceduresMaintain accurate survey and or equipment logs during operationsWhat do we need from you?
Completion of a Bachelor of Science Degree, specifically Surveying or Marine Science, or equivalentSSSI membership and active maintenance of a field logbook is desirable for the Certified Professional Hydrographic Surveyor (CPHS) accreditation programDemonstrated logistics planning experienceCapable of building and sustaining effective relationshipsExperience with QINSy (desirable)Caris HIPSQPS FGMT, QPS QimeraHow to applyAt Cyan Renewables, we strive to foster a diverse and inclusive environment that empowers all employees to strive for their full potential.
