Your opportunity:
The Coordinator Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health Workers is a senior leadership role within the Mental Health and Specialised Services (MHSS) Division, responsible for providing operational oversight, professional leadership, and strategic direction to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander MHSS Workers across Wide Bay.
The role ensures the delivery of culturally safe, strengths-based, and responsive mental health services through workforce leadership, quality and clinical governance, policy advice, and integration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workers within clinical pathways of care.
In collaboration with MHSS leaders, the Executive Director Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Services, and community stakeholders, the Coordinator supports professional development, builds strong partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations, and contributes to Closing the Gap and broader health equity initiatives.
Under 25s of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $162,081 p.a., comprising salary between $128,054 - $142,056 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HWF5) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
