About the Role 
LifeFlight's Townsville Base is looking for a part-time Administration Officer to provide essential administrative support to our medical and operational teams. 
This part-time role is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00am – 3:00pm, offering flexibility and a great work-life balance. 
You will assist the team with a warm welcome, assist with training programs, compliance, and day-to-day administration. Your work ensures our team can focus on what matters most: providing life-saving care across Queensland. 
Key responsibilities include: 
- Receptionist duties, answering calls, and welcoming staff and visitors professionally
- Diary management and coordination of weekly MS Teams meetings
- Minute-taking, data entry, filing, and general administrative tasks
- Assisting with training and compliance documentation
- Monitoring and maintaining first aid kits, stationery, amenities, keys, and car registrars
- Supporting the Townsville Clinical Leadership Team with administrative tasks as required
About You 
You thrive in an organised, supportive role and enjoy helping a busy team succeed. You will have: 
- A welcoming, professional manner and excellent telephone etiquette
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Teams
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent multi-tasking and time management, able to manage interruptions and competing priorities with a positive approach
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build qualified relationships across the organisation
- A quick learning mindset with the ability to understand new processes accurately
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work independently, show initiative, and proactively support the team
- A commitment to safety, including being comfortable serving as a Fire Warden for the Townsville Jet Base
