Automated Equipment Maintenance Specialist
We're seeking a skilled electrical technician to join our team in a state-of-the-art facility.
This hands-on, customer-facing role involves servicing and maintaining live automated equipment in a clean, food-grade setting.
This is a shift-based position on a 12-hour rotating roster (4 days on, 4 days off), including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Main responsibilities include:
* Performing preventative and reactive maintenance on automated systems
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults with basic PLC fault-finding and interface knowledge preferred
* Maintaining strict safety and hygiene standards in line with food industry regulations
* Collaborating with on-site operations teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth workflow
The ideal candidate will have:
* An Electrical A Grade Licence
* Proven experience with automated systems and electromechanical maintenance
* Strong mechanical aptitude, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and drive systems
* Basic electrical troubleshooting and PLC interface skills (preferred)
