What You'll Do:
* Lead and coordinate the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of Surf Life Saving Queensland's education and training programs across the North Queensland region.
* Foster strong partnerships with surf lifesaving clubs, community organisations, and key regional stakeholders to enhance engagement and support sustainable training outcomes.
* Oversee and support the implementation of broader SLSQ initiatives and programs within the region, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and community safety goals.
* Champion a culture of learning and development, empowering members, volunteers, and the wider community with the knowledge and skills to improve safety and resilience.
About You:
You are an accomplished education and training professional who thrives on developing people, building capability, and inspiring others to achieve excellence. With a passion for community safety and a commitment to lifelong learning, you bring both expertise and enthusiasm to every training environment. You're a confident communicator, an engaging facilitator, and a trusted mentor who knows how to turn learning into real-world impact. Your organisational skills, professionalism, and ability to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders set you apart as a leader in the training field.
* Current Working with Children Blue Card (or ability to obtain).
* Current Open Driver's Licence.
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110, TAE40116, or TAE40122 — or actively working towards).
* Demonstrated experience using aXcelerate LMS or similar Learning Management Systems.
* Proven experience in the delivery, and coordination of education or vocational training programs.
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
* Strong time management and organisational abilities with a high attention to detail.
* High-level digital literacy and confidence in modern training tools and systems.
* Willingness to attend meetings and deliver training outside standard hours, including weeknights and weekends.
