We are now seeking a motivated Service Manager and a Qualified Electrician to join our growing team.
About the Roles
Service Manager
The Service Manager will conduct scheduled, statutory and operational electrical maintenance at a national institution, ensuring high‑quality delivery across commercial environments and public spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
* Completing and documenting scheduled maintenance
* Scheduling and managing sub-contractors
* Reporting to the Technical Supervisor, lead and coordinate the electrical maintenance program
* Ensure all work complies with Australian electrical standards
* Manage workflow, scheduling, and overall job quality
* Maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships
* Oversee recordkeeping, reporting, and safety documentation
Qualified Electrician
The Qualified Electrician will work as part of a team delivering a range of projects, including commercial fit-outs, construction, communications and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out commercial and service electrical works to a high standard
* Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards
* Supervise, mentor, and guide apprentices
* Complete job documentation accurately
* Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
Requirements (Both Roles)
Mandatory
* Current Electrical Licence and Valid Driver’s Licence
Preferred Requirements
* AMCA Licence
* OH&S General Induction (White Card)
* Asbestos Awareness certification
* Silica Dust certification
* Strong understanding of Australian electrical standards
* Ability to supervise apprentices
* Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Experience working within public institutions or high‑profile facilities (highly desirable)
