Offer description

Are you passionate about driving quality and continuous improvement in higher education? Join UniSQ's Curriculum and Quality Unit as an Evaluations Advisor. Based in Toowoomba, Springfield or Ipswich, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on student experience and program quality across the University.

Who you are

You're a curious and analytical professional who enjoys turning data and feedback into meaningful insights that drive improvement. You bring a strong eye for detail and take a thoughtful, evidence‐based approach to your work, with the ability to balance analysis with practical outcomes.

You're confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and can communicate complex information in a clear and accessible way. Whether you're facilitating a discussion, delivering training, or preparing a report, you build trust and credibility through your professionalism and collaborative style.

Highly organised and adaptable, you're comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities, and you respond well to change. You're motivated by making a tangible impact—supporting better learning experiences and contributing to continuous improvement across courses and programs.

What you'll do

In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping how the University understands and enhances the quality of its courses and programs. You'll design and deliver evaluation activities, analyse data and feedback, and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations that support better learning and teaching outcomes.

Day to day, you'll coordinate course evaluation processes, manage projects, and develop reports and dashboards that inform decision‐making at both course and program levels. You'll also engage with academic and professional staff—facilitating discussions, contributing to professional development, and building capability in evaluation and quality practices across the University.

In your first 6–12 months, you'll establish strong stakeholder relationships, confidently manage evaluation cycles, and contribute to improving reporting, data quality, and evaluation approaches. Your work will directly influence key portfolio initiatives and program reviews, giving you the opportunity to grow your expertise in evaluation, analytics, and project delivery within a collaborative and impact‐focused environment.

What will help you succeed

We're seeking someone with an undergraduate qualification in a relevant field and demonstrated experience in evaluation methodologies and project management—ideally within tertiary education. Strong skills in data analysis, visualisation, and reporting are essential, alongside excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities. The successful candidate will be a team player, committed to upholding UniSQ's values of Respect, Integrity, and Excellence. Occasional travel between campuses may be required.

To be considered for this position, you will need to have the right to work in Australia.
