The opportunity
The role of a Guest Service Host is to participate in the day to day operation of the Guest Services Office, Animal Adventure Centre and Reception desk at Sea World.
You will be required to demonstrate a superior knowledge of Sea World's attractions, products and services whilst maintaining professional and friendly customer service skills.
Must be available to work a 7-day rotating roster between the hours of 8.30am to 6.30pm on any day including weekends, school holidays and evening function work.
Your day to day:
• Answer telephone, email and face to face enquiries
• Assist lost and found enquiries in accordance with set procedures
• Process Animal Adventure bookings and ticket upgrades
• Conduct VIP escorts and park familiarisations
• Handle feedback or complaints and solve/follow up in accordance with set procedure
• Conduct Main Reception duties including answering switchboard calls, mail/courier processing, daily reporting of park operations etc.
• Respond and participate in emergency situations if necessary, in line with policy and procedures
• Provide a thorough knowledge of all Village Roadshow Theme Parks properties
What you'll bring:
• Well-developed organisational skills and strong administrative skills
• Previous reception experience with communication systems and/or switchboard experience
• A positive, friendly and enthusiastic personality
• A professional attitude and exceptional level of customer service
• Proven conflict resolution and complaint handling skills
• Ability to use initiative to solve problems quickly and efficiently
• Must be available to work a seven-day rotating roster, including weekends, school holidays and evening functions
• Current Provide First Aid and CPR certificate, or willing to obtain this qualification prior to commencement
