How You Will Make An Impact
Be a first responder to customers requiring assistance during a cyber breach and lead a squad of investigators on customer engagements.
Day to day you will:
- Deploy and use your DFIR (Digital Forensics and Incident Response) toolsets, collect evidence sources, analyse artefacts, and apply best practice analysis techniques.
- Help to ensure a high level of quality in the delivery of DFIR engagements, including technical work performed, customer updates and reports, and presentation of results.
- Take a leading role in the delivery of customer engagements in accordance with the DFIR operational framework, including scoping requirements, defining technical work to be performed, drafting budget estimates, preparing engagement letters and other documentation, performing engagement administration, leading other team members, preparing deliverables, identifying engagement risks, and resolving engagement issue.
- Provide on-site support to customers within Australia and Overseas.
Key Skills Required:
- You will have LEAD at least ONE enterprise-sized Cyber Incident or Major Data Breach in Australia or New Zealand
- Seasoned with Incident Response and / or Digital Forensics
- Strong IT / Cyber Security Background
- Highly capable of consistently delivering high quality DFIR work with little guidance
- DFIR certifications - highly desirable
- Highly effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills, building credibility with senior leaders and internal working teams
- Capable of taking responsibility in leading engagements
