About the role
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Administrator to join Isaac Regional Council on a contract basis.
Responsibilities
- Provide high level administrative support as required by the Departmental Administration Officer – Community Education and Compliance and/or Manager Community Education and Compliance.
- Liaise with the Legal fraternity regarding property information.
- Procurement Management - raise requisitions and coordinate payment of invoices.
- Assist members of the general public enquiries.
Knowledge and Skills (Essential)
- Demonstrated knowledge of administrative processes (Microsoft applications), including letter preparation, preparation of documents, meeting minutes, compiling memos, email management, photocopying, general financial processes and spread sheeting.
- Knowledge of corporate governance and community engagement processes.

Isaac Regional Council covers a large region in Queensland (58,709 km²) formed on 15 March 2008 by the amalgamation of the former Shires of Belyando, Broadsound and Nebo. IRC provides and manages a wide range of local government services and infrastructure. Some of the major functions include infrastructure & roads, water, wastewater & waste management, land‑use planning, setting and community services, economic development, advocacy & partnerships, supporting social and community infrastructure, environmental programs and Strategic planning and visioning.
