Now, we're looking for a General Manager who can take this momentum and scale it sustainably, profitably, and with heart.
The Opportunity
As General Manager, you'll work side by side with Response Electricians and Tradies Success Academy's Founder, Greg Allan, to lead a capable, committed team and drive the next chapter of growth.
You'll have full accountability for commercial performance, from sales, operations, and marketing to financial health and team culture. You'll shape strategy, ensure day-to-day excellence, and build the systems and rhythms that allow a high-performing business to grow with confidence.

What You'll Do
Drive growth through smart sales, pricing, and marketing strategies that deliver profitable, high-quality work.
Lead operations across scheduling, workflow, systems (SimPRO, HubSpot, Asana), and service excellence.
Oversee performance reviewing pipelines, conversion rates, utilisation, and margin weekly.
Manage financial health forecasting, cash flow, and commercial decisions that protect profitability and fund future growth.
Strengthen culture embedding the Response values into every decision, from recruitment to recognition.
Develop people mentoring leaders, building capability, and ensuring the next generation of electricians thrive.
Manage teams of 26–50 people to ensure operational excellence and business growth.
Who You Are
You're a commercially minded leader with a trade or construction background who knows what it takes to run a profitable service business and how to do it without losing sight of people.
Candidates must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.
You bring:
Proven experience leading or scaling a service-based or trade business (electrical preferred but not essential)
A minimum of 3–4 years of experience leading or managing a service-based or trade business
Strong commercial acumen, confident with P&L, pipeline, and pricing models
Full P&L ownership experience with complete accountability for financial performance
Hands‐on leadership that balances accountability with empathy
Comfort with systems and data, you see insights, not just numbers
A values-first approach to growth, culture, and client relationships
