Financial Analyst Position
This contract role is for an experienced financial analyst to support a finance program in Hobart, Tasmania. The successful candidate will have strong accounting knowledge and hands-on SAP experience.
* Capture and analyze business needs, problem statements, and process inefficiencies within the finance function.
* Develop high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, one-pagers, risk logs, and supporting documentation.
* Prepare business cases and options papers to evaluate solution pathways, including cost, risk, feasibility, and strategic fit.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of accounting knowledge, systems thinking, and analytical capability. They will have worked in finance environments dealing with CapEx/Opex, statutory reporting, asset-heavy operations, or other complex structures.
