A large and complex organisation is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support delivery of the People (HR) workstream within a major ERP implementation program.
This role works closely with senior HR leaders, functional SMEs and program stakeholders to coordinate, track and drive delivery of all People‑related tasks and milestones across the ERP program. This position is critical in ensuring oversight, accountability and strong alignment between the People function and the broader program. It requires a proactive, structured operator who can introduce governance discipline and confidently manage activities within a complex HR transformation environment.
Your new role
This role is expected to bring delivery discipline, clarity of ownership and improved visibility across all HR‑related ERP activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain end‑to‑end oversight of People work stream deliverables, ensuring alignment with program milestones and timelines.
* Establish structured tracking mechanisms to monitor milestones, risks, dependencies and deadlines across recruitment, remuneration, job architecture and people operations.
* Facilitate work stream meetings, including scheduling, agendas, minutes, decision logs and action tracking.
* Proactively follow up outstanding actions, troubleshoot delivery issues and identify gaps or duplication across sub‑streams.
* Work closely with HR project support, program leads, project managers and change partners to manage reprioritisation in response to program deadlines.
* Track performance against scope, escalate risks or variations and recommend practical mitigation options.
* Prepare concise reporting updates for senior HR leadership outlining progress, risks, priorities and interdependencies.
* Support coordination of testing, readiness activities and transition to BAU, ensuring documentation and handover is clear and complete.
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience coordinating complex projects in large or multifaceted organisations.
* Exposure to HR transformation, system implementation or ERP‑related initiatives is highly desirable.
* Strong capability in maintaining governance artefacts (action registers, RAID logs, milestone trackers, structured reporting).
* Proven ability to drive accountability across senior stakeholders without direct authority.
* Experience implementing practical tools to lift visibility, track progress and manage competing priorities.
* Strong written communication skills, including preparation of leadership‑level updates.
* Ability to work autonomously, exercise judgement and manage shifting priorities in a fast‑paced project environment.
* Experience in large, complex or matrixed environments is advantageous.
