We are looking for a skilled SAP Project Manager to oversee SAP implementation and transformation projects, with a strong grasp of SAP solutions and project management in utilities or asset-intensive industries. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to manage timelines, budgets, and risks effectively. Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Management: Lead the full SAP project lifecycle, including S/4HANA implementations and upgrades. Develop comprehensive project plans detailing scope, timelines, budgets, and resources. Define project goals and KPIs aligned with business objectives. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Serve as the main point of contact among business stakeholders, technical teams, and partners. Conduct workshops to gather requirements and align project goals. Provide project updates, risks, and mitigation strategies to leadership. Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams to ensure collaboration. Mentor team members to foster accountability and performance. Manage relationships with vendors and third-party consultants. Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues. Develop contingency plans to minimize project disruptions. Escalate critical issues to leadership when necessary. Budget and Resource Management: Oversee project budgets and track expenses against financial goals. Optimize resource allocation across teams and partners. Quality Assurance and Delivery: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and requirements. Oversee testing phases such as integration and user acceptance testing. Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify improvement opportunities. Requirements Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP project management, with a strong track record delivering end-to-end SAP implementations and transformations (including SAP S/4HANA ). Demonstrated experience delivering projects within highly regulated, asset-intensive environments, including those with a strong focus on Project Management (PM) practices. Demonstrated success in leading full project lifecycles — from planning and blueprinting through to go-live and post-implementation support. Strong knowledge of SAP solutions and integration landscapes, with the ability to engage both functional and technical teams effectively. Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches). Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, align, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. High level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal effectiveness, with the ability to navigate complex team dynamics, manage conflicts, and build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams. Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional and distributed teams, including vendors and third-party partners. Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and driving resolution. Solid experience in budget management, resource planning, and financial tracking for large-scale projects. Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to facilitate workshops and present to senior leadership. Ability to work in fast-paced, client-facing environments with competing priorities. Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP certifications are highly regarded.
