Job Title: Legal Administrative Assistant
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team.
Job Description:
* Support lawyers in various tasks such as drafting documents, managing files, and preparing court materials.
* Build strong relationships with clients, barristers, and other stakeholders through excellent communication skills.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals and provide exceptional administrative support.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Administrative Tasks:
* Drafting, proofreading, and filing legal documents and correspondence.
* Preparing briefs to counsel, court books, and mediation briefs.
* Managing internal and external meetings, including coordinating travel and diary management.
* Matter management including setting up files, conflict checks, and due diligence procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in administration and customer service is essential. Experience as a Legal Assistant or Personal Assistant is desirable.
* Proficiency in Microsoft365 and confidence in learning new systems.
* Desirable experience with Actionstep and adaptability in an efficient and fast-paced environment.
* Initiative and autonomy while also taking a collaborative approach.
* Excellent written skills and attention to detail.
* Fine-tuned multi-tasking and organizational skills.
