We are seeking a motivated Production Operator to join our Compressed Operations team. Reporting to the Shift Manager via the Area Team Leader, this role is responsible for the filling, handling, testing, and processing of both company-owned and privately owned gas cylinders. You will play a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations while contributing to continuous improvement and achievement of operational performance targets.
Responsibilities
* Maintain high standards of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental compliance
* Contribute to continuous improvement in productivity, service delivery, and asset utilisation
* Support team operations by providing cover for sickness and annual leave when required
* Work collaboratively within a shift-based production environment
* Fill, handle, test, and process gas cylinders in accordance with operational procedures
Qualifications
* Current forklift licence and hands-on forklift operating experience (preferred)
* Good literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures, and safety documentation
* Proven ability to work effectively within a team, as well as independently when required
* You have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety, quality, and environmental standards
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work rotating shift patterns
* Physically capable of performing manual tasks in a production environment
* Positive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset
