Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage the full lifecycle of international workforce transitions. This individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance and enhancing employee experience across borders.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage global expatriate management cycles with strong partnerships with people business partners.
* Engage with assignees for regular connections and engagement.
* Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders globally.
* Identify and mitigate risks in all areas of global mobility.
* Provide pre-assessment management consultation with business leaders on move purpose, cost projections, and talent profile.
* Offer subject matter expertise to stakeholders on global mobility standards interpretation.
* Provide insights on global mobility trends.
* Be the main point of contact for APAC immigration related matters for international moves within the region.
* Work closely with the global mobility leader on operational program enhancements and projects.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree holder; Master's degree preferred but not required.
General experience: 8+ years in expert competence; managerial experience not required (individual contributor).
Extensive background in global mobility - immigration, tax, payroll, mobilizations/assignment, relocation management, and third-party provider coordination.
Experience in handling inter-country transfers across Asia Pacific Region.
Demonstrated strength in analytical thinking and responsiveness to dynamic business environments.
Expert guidance on global mobility programs, policy compliance, and strategic talent mobility.
Excellent communication skills to provide guidance and advice to diverse stakeholders.
Initiative-driven, proactive, and autonomous worker.
Able to work on a schedule that supports the APAC region but directly reports to a lead based in Canada.
