We are seeking enthusiastic and creative
Music Teachers
and
Classroom Music Teachers
to bring
learning to life for our students in the Southern Highlands and Tablelands of NSW. We work in over 30
locations in these LGAs: Goulburn-Mulwarree, Wingecarribee, Wollondilly, Upper Lachlan, Yass Valley
and Queanbeyan-Palerang.
Candidates must hold valid Australian work rights to be eligible for these positions. You must also
obtain a NSW Working With Children Check and have a current drivers licence.
Working for Hume Con, you can combine other areas of artistic practice with a rewarding teaching
workload, managed by the Conservatorium.
Our programs are age-appropriate, wide-ranging, inclusive and responsive to the needs of students
and schools who work with us. We emphasise music making, performance, teaching and learning as

Music Teachers
We have student waiting lists in the following areas: voice, keyboard,
drumset/percussion and guitar. These needs are more focussed in Goulburn-Mulwarree and Yass Valley
LGAs, but you can express interest in working in other regions.
We are also seeking an enthusiastic and creative
Classroom Music Teacher
to bring learning to life for
Junior School students from Early Learning to Year 6. This work may be available in any of the LGAs in
which we work, and is ideal for a passionate educator who delights in nurturing curiosity, creativity and
confidence through music in a warm, inclusive and engaging environment. Additional skills in voice,
piano, guitar and/or other instruments will be beneficial.
You will need to have relevant music performance or music education qualifications, or equivalent skills
and knowledge from extensive industry experience.
We are a member of the Association of NSW Regional Conservatoriums and receive support from the
NSW Government's Regional Conservatorium Grant Program.
