Overview
Clinical Nurse Consultant - Acute Pain Nurse L4) located at Launceston General Hospital, North region. Part time position within the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Award, Registered Nurse, Grade 6. Salary $114,851 to $121,886 pro rata per annum. Responsibilities
* Using a multidisciplinary approach, plan, coordinate, deliver and evaluate advanced nursing care relating to acute pain management.
* Foster an environment that values education, teaching, research, and quality activities in relation to acute pain management.
* Provide clinical consultancy and advice on issues of acute pain management and act as a clinical resource person.
* Establish and monitor effective communication with other acute pain service team members and other health professionals.
* Provide leadership in contemporary nursing practices and promote a professional, innovative, change-ready environment.
* Provide expert clinical advice and recommendations regarding the selection and utilization of resources.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
* Desirable: holds, or is working towards, a qualification relevant to the specialty area.
Details of Appointment
* Permanent part time, shift worker position, 6 hours per fortnight.
* Fixed term part time, shift worker position, 4 hours per fortnight until 29 April 2026.
* Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Benefits and Salary
* Salary range $114,851 to $121,886 per annum (pro rata); 12% employer superannuation on top of base salary.
