It has a 360 berth marina and a large and busy boat yard, serviced predominantly by onsite contractors.
We pride ourselves in providing exceptional service to our members and maintaining a safe, efficient and clean boat yard and marina.We are seeking a motivated person to join our waterfront team.ResponsibilitiesOperate the forklift, tractor and eventually the boat lift.Gain a solid understanding of all relevant health and safety regulations and ensure that they are followed by contractors and boat owners.Assist to move boats within the marina and complete marina checklists.Ensure that the boat yard is tidy, presentable and free of safety hazards.QualificationsThis is a physical role requiring a reasonable level of fitness, strength and agility.Strong communication skills are essential, as there is significant contact with members, staff and contractors.Boating experience will be a significant advantage.Driver's licence and forklift licence are essential.There will be an opportunity for training and skills development.DetailsThis is a full time position Monday to Friday, with rotating weekend work.For the right candidate, part time working would be considered.Join a dynamic and friendly team at a prestigious yacht club and enjoy a vibrant work environment with a focus on safety and teamwork.How to applyPlease send your resume and a cover letter outlining your experience and suitability for the role to (emailprotected)
