Key responsibilities of this role include providing high-standard care as set out in Theatre Standards and trust guidelines. This entails maintaining accurate completion of theatre records, documentation, and care plans. Additionally, you will assess patients' immediate and ongoing needs and develop individualised care plans when necessary.
Main duties
This position requires the ability to work in partnership with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and work closely with the theatre management team to provide safe quality care and an excellent patient and staff experience. It is also beneficial to have additional experience in either Scrub or Recovery.
The opportunity to work in other operating theatres across the Trust will be available once competencies have been met for the post.
About the role
This is a full-time role, but part-time hours will be considered. You will need to possess sound clinical experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work flexibly and lead by example.

Other requirements
You must be able to monitor and maintain equipment used in the Units and report faults to the appropriate person. Additionally, you will assist in cleaning schedules to maintain agreed cleanliness levels for the units.
