Overview

In this role you will support the planning, design and delivery of major developments, transport infrastructure and urban regeneration projects for both government and private‐sector clients. You will also play a key role in driving sustainable outcomes and digital transformation through high‐quality engineering design, technical documentation and project collaboration.
Responsibilities
* Deliver civil engineering design and technical consulting services across road design, pavements, stormwater, bulk earthworks, water and sewer reticulation, and utility coordination.
* Contribute to a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects for government agencies, contractors and private developers across Transport, Buildings, Energy, Water and Resources portfolios.
* Prepare technical documentation including drawings, reports, specifications and support cost estimates and tender submissions.
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, project managers, clients and contractors to achieve successful project outcomes.
* Support project delivery through effective task management, quality assurance compliance, project coordination and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with consulting industry experience in civil infrastructure design.
* Strong technical capability across civil engineering disciplines including roadworks, stormwater, earthworks and utility services coordination.
* Working knowledge of relevant industry legislation, regulations, codes of practice and guidelines.
* Proficiency in Autodesk software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with exposure to digital engineering tools such as Bluebeam, ProjectWise, 12d, ArcGIS, Python or VBA highly regarded.
* Excellent communication and report‐writing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non‐technical stakeholders.
* A proactive mindset with strong organisational skills, the ability to take ownership of tasks, manage competing priorities and a genuine desire to excel and contribute to team success.
