**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Brisbane-based with a focus on airfreight, the role is an operationally-minded Customer Service Representative. Previous experience in a similar role in International Freight Forwarding will be looked upon favourably. Maintaining a portfolio of accounts, you will work closely with your clients and internal departments to ensure the smooth execution of freight movements. An experienced operator looking to transition will also be looked upon favourably.
**DUTIES**
- Maintain and service a portfolio of import and export accounts
- Quote, cost, negotiate and present a range of services
- Provide daily status reports and troubleshoot potential issues
- Follow up on new leads with existing clients for new business opportunities
- Ensure all routings have the correct documentation to ensure internal departments operate without delay
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- 2 years experience in airfreight forwarding Operations or Customer Service role
- Exposure to quoting and routing with overseas partners an advantage
- Experience working with and developing corporate partnerships
- Previous dealing directly with clients to manage conflict and service delays
- Strong computer literacy (CW1 essential)
