Job Description:
* Perform month-end process and journal entries to meet deadlines.
* Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for trade debtors, creditors, prepayments, and clearing accounts.
* Coordinate with internal AP/AR teams to ensure timely payments and collections.
* Assist with bank reconciliation and corporate credit card reconciliation via Concur.
* Support the Management Accountant in mentoring accounts officers and trainees.
* Assist the Management Accountant or Financial Controller with ad-hoc projects and reports.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide financial information and support.
Requirements:
* Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting or a related business discipline.
* Qualified accountant (CPA or CA), or working towards CA/CPA qualification.
* 2 years' recent experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the hospitality sector.
* Proficiency in computerized finance software applications, including Microsoft Excel.
* High standard of documentation and reporting skills.
* Ability to work with minimal external assistance.
* Valid working rights in Australia.
