French Taste Bakery is a well-established artisan bakery in Parkes, NSW, known for producing high-quality breads and pastries using traditional techniques. We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate commercial baking equipment and machinery used for rolling, moulding, and cutting dough and biscuit products• Measure, weigh, and assess ingredients and raw materials to ensure consistency and product quality• Prepare and cook a range of bread, roll, and pastry products by managing mixing, shaping, proving, baking, cooling, and de-panning processes• Apply glazes and decorative finishes to buns, pastries, and cakes using creams, icings, and other toppings• Set, control, and monitor oven temperatures and visually inspect products to achieve correct baking results• Prepare a variety of sweet and savoury pastry fillings in line with production requirements• Maintain cleanliness of baking trays, tins, ovens, and workstations, including cleaning, greasing, and general upkeep of equipment• Inspect production areas and equipment before each bake to ensure compliance with food safety and workplace health and safety standards• Perform dough preparation tasks including kneading, fermenting, cutting, moulding, and shaping by hand or machine• Coordinate the loading and unloading of ovens and oversee batch production to ensure efficiency and product consistency
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
