About the Business
Our client is a growing Australian manufacturer specialising in packaging and automated manufacturing, with operations across Australia and New Zealand.
Due to continued growth and a recent New Zealand acquisition, they are seeking an experienced and hands-on Supply Chain Manager to join their manufacturing operation.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys being close to operations, working collaboratively with warehouse and manufacturing teams, and contributing across all areas of the supply chain function.
The Role
Reporting to the leadership team, you will oversee the end-to-end supply chain across planning, procurement, warehousing, logistics, and shipping operations.
This role combines operational leadership with hands-on involvement and continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead S&OP, inventory, and production planning activities
* Oversee warehousing, logistics, and distribution operations across Australia and New Zealand
* Manage local and international freight, shipping, and supplier relationships
* Drive inventory accuracy, OTIF performance, and supply chain KPIs
* Support manufacturing and customer outcomes through effective planning and coordination
* Lead and develop warehouse and supply chain teams
* Improve systems, processes, and operational efficiency as the business grows
About You
* Experience in end-to-end supply chain management within manufacturing
* Strong background in warehousing, logistics, and planning
* Experience managing 3PL providers and international freight
* Hands-on, team-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills
* Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain reporting
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management capability
* S&OP, production planning, and continuous improvement experience is highly regarded
