Location: Wembley, WA
Pay: $25.85 base rate + casual loading
Cater Care is currently seeking a friendly and dependable Catering Assistant to join our aged care team at our Wembley site on a casual basis, with potential for a transition to part-time employment.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and welcoming environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality meal services that enrich the daily lives of our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and assemble food items including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
* Assist with meal service, ensuring a high standard of presentation and customer service
* Restock supplies before, during, and after service periods
* Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing duties
* Set tables and assist with plating and meal distribution
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
* Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
* Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery highly regarded
* Experience in contract catering, aged care, healthcare, or food service environments is desirableStrong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment
