About the Role:

The role involves working in a multidisciplinary team to provide clinical services to adult patients with mental illnesses and disorders in both hospital and community settings.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide psychiatric assessment, treatment, and care planning for allocated patients.
2. Lead and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
3. Develop and implement person-centered, recovery-oriented care plans that incorporate trauma-informed principles.
4. Promote a culture of safety and learning within the team.
5. Contribute to the development and dissemination of new knowledge and practices in mental health.
Requirements:

* Degree-qualified Psychiatrist or relevant experience.
* Current registration with AHPRA.
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent.
* Medicare provider number.
* Ability to lead and work effectively in interprofessional teams.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
